15TH WALK/JOG FOR THE "WELL" OF IT 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event Name: 15th Annual Walk for the “WELL” of It
• Date: Saturday, April 12, 2025
• Location: Martin Sutton Memorial Park, 302 W 4th St., Ridgely, MD 21660
• Purpose: Spreading awareness of the world water crisis and raising funds for clean water in rural Africa, specifically Ghana and Tanzania.

📅 Schedule and Registration

• Race Time: 10 am start
• Race Day Pickup: Race Bib & T-Shirt from 9:00am - 9:50am at the pavilion located at the NE corner of the park.
• 5K Run Entry Fee: $35 "EARLY REGISTRATION" (till April 11th at 10 pm): $40 "RACE DAY" registration from 8-8:50 am
• 1 Mile Walk Entry Fee: $25 "EARLY REGISTRATION" (till April 11th at 10 pm): $30 "RACE DAY" registration from 8-8:50 am

💧 Race Course

• Course Type: Loop 5k course on the small town and country roads of Ridgely, MD

• Timing: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using Chronotrack chip timing system.
• Amenities: Short Sleeve tech race shirts, medals to age group winners, light refreshments & music.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• Awards: Overall male and female, Masters, plus top 3 in 10 year age groups 13 under to 70 over.
• Race Organizers: St. Peter & Paul High School Students Kathryn Murphy and Will Murphy, with support from Lifetime Wells International volunteers.
