🏃‍♀️ Race for Caitlin

We are holding this Race for Caitlin to raise funds for the family of Caitlin Buchanan. Caitlin is a freshman at Thomas A. Edison High School and has recently been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. She is receiving treatment at Strong Memorial Hospital including surgery and chemotherapy. She has a long road of treatments ahead of her and as we all know, this comes with added financial stress due to travel expenses and medical costs.

💖 Purpose of the Event

• Goal: All proceeds will go directly to the Buchanan family to assist with these expenses.
• Community Support: Our goal is to lessen the financial burden on their family and to show Caitlin how much support she has behind her.
• Join Us: Please join us for this event.
• Activities: Even if you aren't a runner, we will have music, food, raffle baskets, 50/50, and face painting by Painted Love.

🏅 Race Details

• When: The race will be held on April 26, 2025.
• Where: Thomas A. Edison High School, Elmira, NY.
• Format: A friendly competition to run or walk as many laps around our track as you want to between 10-4.
• Recognition: We will have recognition and prizes for the top three participants who complete the most laps in each age group.

🎉 Additional Activities

• Fun Events: There will be additional fun activities from 11-2PM.
• Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony will be at 4:30PM.
• Prizes: Prizes for the three participants with the most laps in each age group.
