Malone XC Night Invitational

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Malone University athletic department invites you to our 2023 edition of the Malone invitational. We have a much improved course with a new and refurbished start line. The 2023 date is September 23rd. We would be honored to have you and your team visit our campus and run in this historic meet. You will find a contract and schedule attached to this email and it will also be on our university website.

📅 Registration Details

If you plan on attending, just print the contract, complete the information and return with payment by September 6th. You must also register your entries (roster) on milesplit.com. The entry window will be open on August 16th and close on September 18th. Your entries are not confirmed until your roster is officially entered on milesplit and your payment has been received by the Malone University athletic office.

• Entry Confirmation: Your entries are not confirmed until both your roster is submitted on milesplit and payment is received.
• School Classification: High school varsity teams will compete in two divisions based upon school enrollment figures.
• Small School Definition: Schools with 220 or fewer students in grades 9-11 will be deemed small schools.
• Large School Definition: Schools with 221 or more students in grades 9-11 are classified as large schools.

🏅 Race Schedule

• 5:00 pm: Elementary Kids Grades 3 and under (1/2 mile)
• 5:10 pm: Elementary Kids Grades 4-6 (1 Mile)
• 5:30 pm: Girls Open JV
• 6:00 pm: Boys Open JV
• 6:30 pm: Pioneer XC Community 5K
• 7:30 pm: Small High School Girls Team (5k) (limited to 7 runners per race)
• 8:05 pm: Small High School Boys Team (5k) (limited to 7 runners per race)
• 8:40 pm: Large High School Girls Team (5k) (limited to 7 runners per race)
• 9:15 pm: Large High School Boys Team (5k) (limited to 7 runners per race)
