The Riverton 4th of July Committee’s Bill Oliver 5K Race and 1 Mile Run for Fun is back for 2025 with new race directors, Andrew and Geoff! Big thanks to our former director, John, for all his work.

Please note the DIFFERENT START TIMES AND LOCATIONS for both races and plan accordingly.

🏃‍♂️ Bill Oliver 5K Race

• Start Time: 8 AM
• Start Location: Sacred Heart Family Center, located at Fourth Street and Linden Avenue in Riverton
• Timed Event: Using chips on participant bibs
• Sanctioned: By the U.S. Track & Field Association • # NJ13005 LMB

🏃‍♀️ 1 Mile Run for Fun

• Start Time: 9:30 AM
• Start Location: Second Street, near the intersection with Cinnaminson Street
• Timed Event: Using chips on participant bibs

📝 Preregistration

• Deadline: For ADVANCE registration is June 25, 2024 at 11:59 PM
• Shirts: Are only guaranteed for the first 300 registrants
• Packet Pickup: Will be at Outlaw Training and Fitness in Palmyra, NJ during regular business hours from July 1-3rd
• Race Day Pickup: Will begin at 6:30 AM in the Sacred Heart Family Center Gymnasium in Riverton, NJ

📅 Day-Of Registration

• Day-of Signups: Will be on July 4th
• Registration Hours: ALL 5k and 1 Mile runners can register from 6:30-7:45 AM at the Sacred Heart Family Center Gymnasium

ℹ️ Additional Information

• Parking: Is available at the Sacred Heart Family Center on a first-come basis
• Street Parking: Is permitted but DO NOT park anywhere with NO PARKING signs. We have many events in town on the 4th and the police will be ticketing/towing to keep the streets clear for all the festivities.
• Bathrooms: Are available at the Sacred Heart Family Center and at the finish line of the races at Riverton Memorial Park
• Water Stops: Several are offered along the course, and at the finish line
