Run for the Glasses

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, June 7th
• Location: 2 Honey Hole Rd, Drums, PA
• Courses: Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, & Dog Jog
• Host: This will be the 1st event in the Valley Running Club Festival of Races!

🕖 Race Start Times

• Half Marathon: Gun Start at 7:00 a.m.
• 5K & 10K: Gun Start at 7:30 a.m.
• Late Starts: Start line will remain open for 10 minutes.
• Awards: Gun time for overall awards, chip time for age group awards.

👕 Shirts and Packet Pickup

• Shirts: Guaranteed sizes for registered participants by May 15th.
• Packet Pickup: At Honey Hole Winery on Thursday & Friday (11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) and race day (starting 6:00 a.m.).
• Same Day Registration: Available with a $5 increase in fees.
• Pre-registration: Recommended to save money!

🏆 Awards Ceremony

• 5K & 10K: Awards starting at 8:30 a.m.
• Half Marathon: Overall winners at 8:45 a.m.
• Age Group Awards: Rolling ceremony until the course closes.
• Categories: Overall awards for male and female, medals for age groups.

🐶 Dog-Jog Division

• Back Again: The Dog-Jog Division will have runners and their dogs on the 5K course.
• Awards: Top 3 finishers will receive overall awards.
• Treats: All dogs will receive a special treat.
• Fun: A great way to run with your furry friends!

💻 Virtual Race Option

• Support Our Cause: Participate virtually if you cannot attend on race day.
• Timing: Race on your own course, on your own time between June 8th and June 9th.
• Submission: Submit your time electronically for scoring in the special division.
• Categories: Available for 13.1M, 10K, 5K, 5K Dog Jog, or Youth 1 Mile.
