🍓 Owego Strawberry Festival 5K

Celebrate the 43rd Owego Strawberry Festival with a 5K Run/Walk!

The Strawberry Festival Rock and Run 5K is Thursday night, June 19, 2025 at the Hickories Park in Owego.

🕒 Event Schedule

• 4:30 PM: Bib pick up opens, Kid's Run Registration-location at the bandstand area.
• 5:15 PM: Kid's Fun Run - all kids, 12 and under, must register with a parent.
• 6:00 PM: 5K Race starts. Cool 2025 Strawberry Festival Race medal for every 5K participant.
• Kid's Fun Run: Ages 12 and under. Runners must register and have a parent sign for them to enter the race, so come early. Fun Run racers will receive a numbered bib and a medal!

🚗 Race Day Safety

Day of the race: Coming into the Hickories Park, please remember to drive slowly!

• Parking: There will be a lot of people parking and gathering around the bandstand area.
• Kids Running: Kids may be running their Fun Run.
• Safety Measures: There will be orange cones and volunteers to highlight the race and help with safety.
• Reminder: Please DRIVE SLOWLY entering the park.

👕 Tee Shirts

• Discount Tee Shirts: Available for runners/walkers that register on Run Sign Up!
• Event Pricing: Tee shirts will also be available for sale at the 5K race at event pricing.

🎶 Music and Festivities

• Start Time: Music and festivities start at 5:00 PM.
• Post-Race Fun: Following the 5K Race, join us for more free music and fun at the Hickories bandstand.
• Vendors: Live music, vendors, and ice cream and food trucks until 9:00 PM!
• Ice Cream Truck: Ice Cream Works will be bringing their ice cream truck! Yum!
• Food Truck: The Food Truck will be at the race, providing delicious food choices!
• Popcorn Treats: Pitstop Popcorn will be there! Great popcorn treats!

🎉 More Strawberry Festival Events

• Friday Night: June 20 - starting at 5:00 PM, music, vendors, food, and fireworks in the Village.
• Saturday: June 21 - in the Village, the Strawberry Festival Parade starts at 10:00 AM, with vendors, food, and entertainment all day!
