Broome County Parks 5K Series

🏃‍♂️ Join Us at the Broome County Parks 5K Series!

The 5K Series is a great way to get out and explore the Broome County Parks!

Join us for the 4th Annual Broome County Parks 5K Series on Thursdays, starting July 10 through August 21, 2024. Participants of all abilities are welcome and encouraged! Bring your family, friends, or just yourself, and let's get outside!

🌟 Beneficiary

Portion of the proceeds benefit CHOW-Broome County Council of Church.

👕 Registration Details

• T-shirt and Award: Included when you register for all four races.
• Individual Race Registration: Available onsite at each race for $20.
• T-shirt Purchase: Available for $10 each.
• Refunds: There will be no refunds available for this series.

🕡 Race Timing

ALL RACES START AT 6:30 P.M.

📦 Packet Pick Up

Packets are available for pickup at each race location the day of the race. Packet pick up will begin at 5:30pm and end at 6:30pm. If you are participating in all four races then you can pick up your packet at the first race or any race day after that.

🗓️ Series Schedule

• July 10: Greenwood Park
• July 24: Dorchester Park
• August 7: Nathaniel Cole Park
• August 21: Otsiningo Park

🛤️ Course Information

Otsiningo Park and Dorchester Park courses are paved: Greenwood Park and Nathaniel Cole Park courses are on dirt trails. These are not certified courses except Otsiningo Park. There are no mile markers, only a marked course, and no chips for timing. Timing results will be displayed at www.gobroomecounty.com/parks/5K.

📧 Communication

For those who registered for all four races, an email with information regarding the race series and course maps will be sent out on July 8th. For those registered for individual races, an email will be sent on Monday the week of their registered race.
