🏃♂️ Race Overview
Join us for the 2nd annual Monteith Park 5k & kids k! Our 5k is more than a run - it's a chance for our community to come together and support those impacted by the devastating hurricane Helene that struck the North Carolina mountains. Every step, every donation makes a difference. Lace up and be part of this community-driven effort to uplift and stand CAROLINA STRONG!
🕗 Event Schedule
- Kids 1k Start: 8:30 AM - Families are welcome to walk/run with their children. Please arrive at 8:15.
- 5k Start: 9:00 AM - This is a walk/run, and friendly dogs are welcome. Please arrive at 8:45.
🎶 Support & Activities
- Food Trucks: Not running? That's okay, come out and join us for Food Trucks & Music and support your neighbors!
- Location: The races will begin at Monteith Park Clubhouse.
🗺️ Race Details
- Kids 1K: Will be down the greenway and back to the clubhouse for the FINISH!
- 5K Course: Will begin at the Clubhouse with a run through Monteith Park Neighborhood & Greenway!
🎉 Special Features
- DJ Roy: Enjoy the beats while you run/walk.
- Coffee Food Truck: Treat yourself to pastries and coffee.
- North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue: They will have some adoptable dogs and provide information for potential foster families.
