🏃‍♂️ Aiken Turkey Trot and 1-Mile Fun Run

Put your turkey in the oven, pack up the family, and join the Aiken community for its 14th Annual Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run! The event will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Citizen's Park located at 651 Old Airport Road Aiken, SC 29802.

The run will benefit our local Toys for Tots! Please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy. Don't forget to wear your best Thanksgiving Day costume!

🗓️ Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: 7:00-7:30am - (only for 1-Mile Fun Run and NON-Chip Runners)
• 1-Mile Fun Run: 8:00am
• 5K CHIP TIMED: 8:30am
• 5K NON-CHIP TIMED: 8:35am
• Awards: 9:30am - 10:00am will be announced throughout the race, when an age category is filled.

💵 Registration Fee

• 1-Mile Fun Run: $15.00
• 5K Non-Chip Timed: $20.00 - This option is NOT officially timed.
• 5K Chip Timed: $25.00 - This is officially timed. Top 3 finishers in each age category will receive a medal.

👕 T-Shirts

T-shirts will be guaranteed to participants who register on or before November 5th at 12:00 noon. T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants who register after November 6th. Extras will be ordered but will be given out on a first come, first serve basis and please note that your size might not be available, but another size could be. Sizes include: YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL, AXXL.

⏱️ Timing/Awards/Race Divisions

• 1-Mile Fun Run: Not a timed event, however, a clock will be displayed.
• 5K Chip Timing: Will be electronically timed by 2 Girls and a Clock, LLC.
• Awards: Given to the overall top male and female 5K Chip Timed finishers and the top three male and female chip timed finishers in each age division.
• Age divisions: 12 and under: 13-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60-69: 70 and up.

📍 Course Description

The run will start and finish near Citizen's Park entrance located off Pine Log Road. The course is flat pavement. Course map can be found on 2 Girls and a Clock Race and Timing Services Facebook Page.

📦 Packet Pickup/Late Registration

Runners can pick up their race packet and register on Wednesday, November 26th at Citizens Park - Complex 1 from 5:00pm - 7:30pm. We highly recommend that you pick up your swag bag at packet pickup. The 1st 500 people at packet-pick-up will receive a Turkey Trot ornament!

Race day packet pick up and registration will be available from 7:00am - 7:30am. CHIP TIMING registration option will not be available at packet pick-up and race day. Registration will close promptly at 7:30am. We accept cash, checks and credit. Complex 1 is off of Pine Log Rd.

❓ FAQs

• Are strollers allowed? YES
• Are dogs allowed? YES, as long as they are leashed.
• Can I walk the event? YES, but please be courteous of all runners and leave space on sidewalks and trails for runners to pass.
• When and where are results posted? Results are posted on www.runsignup.com and 2 Girls and a Clock Race and Timing Services Facebook Page within 24 hours of the event.
