💰 Proceeds

Proceeds from this year’s race will go to “Night to Shine” in Hartsville, a prom experience for persons 14 and older with special needs.

• Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• Awards: Top 3 Overall Male / Female, Top Racer with a stroller, 1st Male/Female in each Age Group
• Group Awards: Largest GSSM Team, Largest Community Team

👕 Shirts and Sizes

• Registration for Shirts: Only those who register by February 1st are guaranteed to receive a shirt.
• Sizes Available: Youth - Small, Medium, Large: Adult - Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL

📅 Registration Fees

• Early Registration: $25 up to January 29th
• Late Registration: $30 January 30th to Race Day
• Race Day Registration: 8:00 AM - 8:50 AM
• Children's Registration: 10 & Under are Free!!! Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult racer for the child’s safety on the course

FWD stands for Fun Without Drugs, a student organization designed to promote healthy, balanced lifestyles while reducing a student's vulnerability to substance abuse. FWD encourages activities including raising mental health awareness, empathy, social and emotional intelligence, and overall wellbeing.

🔗 Additional Information

Participants may register online or in person at GSSM. FWD sponsors student and community activities aimed at strengthening school pride, creating bonds among the student body, and creating a support system. Each year FWD hosts the GSSM 5K for Mental Health race to raise awareness about mental health.

This Race is a Pee Dee Grand Prix Event.
