2nd Annual Miles for Mutts 5K CT

🐾 Event Overview

• Date: 2025-08-30
• Location: 215 Salmon Brook St., Granby, CT
• Race Time: Check in at 8am, race begins at 9am
• Pre-Pickup: Optional bib pickup on 8/29/25 at Roaring Acres Alpacas from 4pm-7pm

🐶 Dog Participation

• Sign Up: Dogs can be signed up through Paws Rescue League for a $10 donation.
• Bandanas: First 75 dogs registered will receive a bandana!
• Swim Time: Access to the dog swim from 10am-12pm included.
• Leash Requirement: All dogs must be leashed at all times except during the dog swim.

📅 Additional Information

• Kids Policy: Children 12 and under participate for free, no advance registration needed.
• Weather Policy: Event takes place rain or shine.
• Registration Fees: Non-refundable donation to Paws Rescue League, Inc.
• Early Registration: T-shirts guaranteed only if registered before 7/15/25.

🌍 Event Accessibility

• Open Participation: The event is open to all ages and locations.
• Adoption Restrictions: Currently, we do not adopt dogs to MA or ME residents.
• Vendors & Food: There will be vendors and food available at the event.
• Adoptable Dogs: Some adoptable pups may attend to cheer on participants!
