Rebranding: The Glastonbury Education Foundation 5K Run/Walk (or “GEF5K”) is a rebranding of the Bill Landers Building Bridges Memorial Hybrid 5K Run/Walk (or "BL5K").
Duration: This is the 18th annual event, which has been sponsored since 2008.
Route: The race will follow the former BL5K route and features bib chip timing.
Sanctioning: The race is sanctioned and serves as a qualifier for the Manchester Road Race.

Location: Parking for the race will be available at Glastonbury High School.

Support and Scholarship Information
Sponsorship: The GEF5K is sponsored by the Glastonbury Education Foundation.
Purpose: The event enhances the Foundation's ability to fund programs, projects, and initiatives that elevate the educational experience of Glastonbury residents.
Scholarships: Proceeds will be used to award scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to graduating seniors of Glastonbury High School.
Eligibility: Scholarships are for students attending a public or private four-year university in Connecticut.
