💡 About the Event
“For The Bay 5K” is a fundraiser for Mobilize Love, a Menlo Church ministry partner, providing academic support, mentorship, and life skills training to under-resourced youth in the Bay Area. Mobilize Love's mobile after-school programs and human services address physical needs, develop life skills, and build community, fostering flourishing lives for children and families.
💰 Fundraising Impact
Each increment of $32,000 covers the cost of providing after school services to kids in resource-challenged public schools for the year. These after-school services are characterized by:
- Serving: Over 300 kids per week during our after school programs
- Developing: Literacy and numeracy skills
- Providing: Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
- Introducing: And sharing the Gospel
- Providing: Nutritious and delicious meals - You can’t learn if you’re hungry
- Establishing: A consistent presence and trust
