“A Warrant to Run” is hosted by the United States Army Warrant Officer (USAWOA) Longrifle Chapter. Warrant Officers are the few technical experts in their field, making up less than three percent of the Army.
- Purpose: To recognize Warrant Officer excellence.
- Opportunities: Provide mentorship and scholarship opportunities.
- Representation: To represent the professionalism/time honored history of the Warrant Officer Cohort.

The run route is an intermediate cross country format with gentle to moderate rolling hills. The race only intersects near the finish line and is a loop.
- Awards: Awards will be presented for the top 3 finishers.
