Mighty Mile - FREE RACE FOR KIDS - Northville

🏃‍♂️ Mighty Mile Overview

• Event: The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old.
• Perks: All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile.
• Finisher Medal: Once the runner crosses the finish line they will receive a Mighty Mile Finisher Medal.

🎓 School Year Challenge

• End of Year: Calling all Elementary and Middle School students to finish up the school year with a fun and challenging mile!
• Healthy Start: Get your summer off to an active healthy start!

💸 Free Participation

• Entry Fee: There is no entry fee to run the Mighty Mile, it is a free race for any child ages 5 to 14 years old.
• Online Registration: To participate, register your child on this site prior to the race.
• No On-Site Registration: There will be no registration available at the race.
• Participation Limit: Race is limited to the first 300 participants. Register early!

🏅 Event Details

• Date and Time: Located at the Northville Hillside Middle School Track on Friday, June 6th.
• Fun Event: This is a fun event for all kids to kick off summer!
• Race Schedule:
  • 6:30pm | 5 - 7 year olds
  • 6:40pm | 8 - 9 year olds
  • 7:00pm | 10 - 11 year olds
  • 7:15pm | 12 - 14 year olds

🕒 Results and Awards

• Timing: This race will be electronically timed using the disposable tag system on the bib number.
• Results: Available immediately after the race and posted on this website.
• Awards: There are no awards for the race: all runners will receive a Mighty Mile medal.

🏁 Course Information

• Course Layout: The first 1/4 mile is on the track, with a loop on school grounds, finishing with a 1/4 mile on the track.
• Encouragement: Members of the Northville Middle School Track team will be along the entire course to offer support.
• Parental Participation: Feel free to run with your child!

🚱 Important Notes

• No Refreshments: Please bring your own water for your child, as there are no refreshments after the event.

🆓 Entry Fee Details

• Free Entry: There is no entry fee, but registration must be completed online.
• No On-Site Registration: There will be no registration available at the race.

🎟️ Packet Pick Up

• Location: Race day at the Hillside Middle School Track starting at 5:45 pm and ending at 7:00 pm.
