Join us for the 31st annual Easter Sun Run on April 19 at Sedgwick County Park in Wichita!

• Event Time: 9:00 a.m. for the 10K race: 11:00 a.m. for the Jeff Wenzel 2-mile run/walk

🎉 Event Highlights

Lace up and get ready for an unforgettable experience at the Easter Sun Run—one of the Midwest’s premier 10K and 2-mile run/walk events! Whether you’re racing for the win, enjoying a fun jog with friends, taking a relaxing stroll (and earning a medal for it!), or bringing the family for the Easter Family Fun Zone, this event has something for everyone.

• Purpose: Major fundraiser for Youth Horizons
• Impact: Supports mentoring, residential care, and advocacy programs for local youth
• Fun: Run solo or build a team to multiply the fun
• Incentives: All participants receive a T-shirt and finisher's medal

And the CASH AWARD goes to...

• 10K: Top 3 - Male and Female
• Jeff Wenzel Memorial 2-mile: Top 3 - Male and Female
• Master's Award: Ages 40-59 - Top Male and Female
• Senior Grand Master: Ages 60+ - Top Male and Female

Medals and certificates will be awarded for Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female by age categories.

👥 Team Participation

NEW THIS YEAR! All teams of 10 or more that register before March 28 get a $10 discount per registrant AND the team's name printed on the back of their Easter Sun Run shirts for free. Custom aqua shirts are for teams only this year! Make sure and visit the TEAMS tent at the event.

• Discount: $10 off per registrant for teams of 10+
• Trophies: Fastest team, largest team, largest church team, best team spirit, and more!
• Meeting Point: Use the TEAMS tent for snacks and team photos
• Note: Discounts can only be used once: no combining of discounts

🎈 Easter Family Fun Zone

Bring the entire family and join us for the annual Easter egg hunt, fun inflatables for the kids, yard games, cotton candy and popcorn, and a free BBQ lunch with hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, and more. It':s festive family fun for a memorable day in the park!

• Registration Closing: 12 p.m. on Friday, April 18
• Discount Eligibility: Teams of 10 or more receive a $10 discount per participant: refund applied after 10th team member registers
• T-Shirt Deadline: Team names printed if registered before March 28
