🎟️ Packet Pick-Up

• Friday, April 4: Noon to 5 p.m. at Wichita First Church of the Nazarene (1400 E. Kellogg Drive).
• Race Day: Packets may also be picked up starting at 7:30 am at the race information table near the starting line.

🌍 Why Are We Doing This?

• Community Impact: Entire registration fee goes toward building borehole wells and providing clean water education to villages in Africa.
• Wells Built: 31 Wichita borehole wells in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Kenya, DR Congo & Ivory Coast – bringing abundant clean water to thousands daily.
• Global Issue: Many people lack easy access to water, and often collect contaminated water, causing health issues.
• Life Changing: Access to clean water reduces illness, improves educational attendance, and enhances community resilience.

🚰 Partnerships for Change

• Collaborating Entities: Wichita Clean Water 5K partners with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Africa.
• Current Challenges: Villagers fetch water from contaminated irrigation dams, affecting health and hygiene.
• Health Consequences: Community members suffer from diarrhea and other waterborne diseases.
• Travel Distance: Many women and children walk over 2½ miles to collect dirty water.
