Annapolis RUN for The Light House

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 16th annual Annapolis RUN for The Light House provides scenic half-marathon and 5k routes along the trails of Quiet Waters Park and through the beautiful Chesapeake Bay-front community of Hillsmere Shores. This race event is unlike any other in the greater Annapolis area!

💖 Beneficiary

All proceeds from the RUN for The Light House will benefit The Light House in Annapolis, a well-known public charity working to end the cycle of homelessness and poverty. The race is organized by Friends of The Light House, Inc., also a public charity, and timing and race management are provided by T3 Race Management.

📅 Dates

• In-Person: Sunday, September 14, 2025
• Virtual: Friday, September 12 - Sunday, September 14, 2025

⏰ Race Starts

• 8:00am: Half Marathon - 11:00am (must finish in 3 hours)
• 8:45am: 5K
• 9:00am: 1.25 mile Walk
• All participants must finish by 11:00am.

💲 Registration and Race Entry Fee Information

• Half Marathon:
  • July 31, 2025 - $98.52 (includes fees)
  • August 1 - August 31, 2025 - $109.12 (includes fees)
  • From September 1st to Race Day - $120.78 (includes fees)
• 5K:
  • July 31, 2025 - $48.70 (includes fees)
  • August 1 - August 31, 2025 - $54.00
  • From September 1st to Race Day - $63.60
• 1.25 Mile Walk: $27.50 (includes fees)
• Virtual Half Marathon & 5K: $32.80 (extra fee for shirt)

🎽 In-Person Race Fee Includes

• Commemorative race running shirt
• Finisher Medal for Half Marathon and 5k Finishers (NEW this YEAR!)
• Race support and beverage stations
• Timing bib (5k and Half Only)

📜 Rules

• All participants must finish by 11:00 AM
• Half Marathon participants must be at least 12 years old
• 5K participants must be at least 6 years old
• No headphones allowed.

📦 Packet Pick Up Instructions

• Date: Saturday, September 13, 2025
• Time: 8:00am - Noon
• Location: The Light House, 10 Hudson Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
• Drive-Thru Pick-Up - Stay in your vehicle

🏅 Awards

There will be finisher medals for the Half Marathoners and 5k (NEW this YEAR!). Awards will be for the top 3 finishers in various age categories.

🌟 Volunteers

Volunteering at the RUN is super fun and a great way to help The Light House! Students can receive service hours for volunteering! (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). Please fill out the VOLUNTEER FORM.

📈 Race Results

In-person race results will be monitored by T3 Race Management and posted to RunSignUp.com. Virtual race participants must submit results by heading to the RunSignUp.com Results Page by Sunday, September 14th at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Click Here

Help fill our Light House Food Pantry with donations dropped off at Packet Pick-Up or on Race Day.

Parking can be found throughout Quiet Waters Park. There will be signs and volunteers directing you to parking options on Race Day.

The Run for The Light House will be run rain or shine. Unfortunately, no reschedule date is available if cancellation occurs due to extreme weather conditions or other force majeure.

The safety of participants, volunteers, sponsors, and staff is of utmost importance. We will be following local and state guidelines regarding COVID-19.
