Join Filling in the Blanks on April 6, 2025, at the Seventh Annual Unite to Fight 5K. The race will take place at Waveny Park located in New Canaan, CT.

- Statistic: In Fairfield County, more than 33,000 children are not sure where their next meal will come from.
- School Meals: Most will get breakfast and lunch from school every weekday.
- Weekend Gaps: Many will go from Friday lunch until Monday at breakfast without a decent meal.
- Organization: Founded in 2013, Filling in the Blanks addresses these weekend gaps.
📦 Filling in the Blanks Programs
- Support: The organization provides each child in its program with a bag filled with healthy, easy-to-prepare food for the weekend.
- Academic Improvement: Removing food insecurity leads to increased academic achievement and greater success opportunities.
- Reach: FITB continuously serves 9200+ kids at over 200 sites throughout Fairfield, Westchester, and Putnam counties.
- Pantry Services: FITB has established four in-school pantries and launched the Fresh Food On The Move mobile pantry in 2023.
