SeaWorld San Diego's Fins & Flippers 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Calling all runners! Attention all SeaWorld enthusiasts! For the first time ever, land will meet sea with our inaugural Fins and Flippers 5K on April 13th.

🌊 Course Details

• Route: This exciting 3.1-mile route will guide you through the scenic grounds of SeaWorld San Diego, passing by your favorite animals and exhibits.
• Sights: Throughout the course will be beautiful views of Mission Bay, ocean-inspired surprises, photo ops with aquatic themes, and lively, sea-inspired characters!
• Kids Fun Run: In addition to the 5K Run, we're excited to offer the Kids 1K Fun Run – the perfect opportunity for little ones to join in on the oceanic adventure.

🏅 Participant Perks

Every participant will receive:

• Shirt: An official race shirt
• Timing Chip: A race bib with a timing chip
• Medal: A unique finisher medal
• Awards: A chance to qualify for special sea-worthy awards

🎭 Costume Contest

Costumes are encouraged—so get creative and dress up in your best fins, flippers, or SeaWorld-inspired oceanic attire for a day filled with fun, waves of excitement, and memories to last a lifetime. (Please note: masks are not permitted for this event.)

🏆 Prizes

• Overall Winners: Top three (3) overall finishers (male, female, and nonbinary) will receive two (2) single day tickets to SeaWorld San Diego and a $150 Gift Certificate to Road Runner Sports.
• Age Division: Plus, top three (3) male and female finishers in each age division will receive two (2) single day tickets to SeaWorld San Diego.
