🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Calling all runners! Attention all SeaWorld enthusiasts! For the first time ever, land will meet sea with our inaugural Fins and Flippers 5K on April 13th.

📍 Course Details

• Distance: 3.1 miles
• Scenic Route: This exciting route will guide you through the scenic grounds of SeaWorld San Diego, passing by your favorite animals and exhibits.
• Views: Throughout the course will be beautiful views of Mission Bay and ocean-inspired surprises.
• Photo Opportunities: Look forward to photo ops with aquatic themes and lively, sea-inspired characters!

👶 Kid's Fun Run

In addition to the 5K Run, we're excited to offer the Kids 1K Fun Run – the perfect opportunity for little ones to join in on the oceanic adventure.

🎉 Participant Perks

• Official Race Shirt: Every participant will receive an official race shirt.
• Timing Chip: A race bib with a timing chip will be provided.
• Finisher Medal: Unique finisher medal for all participants.
• Awards: A chance to qualify for special sea-worthy awards.

🎭 Costume Encouragement

Costumes are encouraged—so get creative and dress up in your best fins, flippers, or SeaWorld-inspired oceanic attire for a day filled with fun, waves of excitement, and memories to last a lifetime. Please note: masks are not permitted for this event.

🏆 Prizes

• Top Finishers: Top three (3) overall finishers (male, female, and nonbinary) will receive two (2) single day tickets to SeaWorld San Diego and a $150 Gift Certificate to Road Runner Sports.
• Age Division Awards: Plus, top three (3) male and female finishers in each age division will receive two (2) single day tickets to SeaWorld San Diego.
