For the past 28 years, something major has been happening in the city of Detroit. Gift of Life MOTTEP, The Detroit MOTTEP Foundation, and Gift of Life Michigan, along with our Champion Sponsors throughout the years have been working together to save lives. Since its humble beginning in 1997 to promote National Minority Donor Awareness Day, Gift of Life MOTTEP has hosted its Annual Walk/Run on the beautiful Belle Isle Park in Detroit. 28 years later this event has grown into abundantly more than we could have imagined, an international event that features a cafe, health fair and so much more. To date with over 1.3 million participants and thousands of lives being directly impacted and saved by the power of organ and tissue donation, LIFE Walk/Run is the largest and longest-running event of its kind in the State of Michigan.

LIFE Walk/Run is an easy and fun way to get involved and make a difference in saving lives. You can participate as:

• Individual: Register on your own.
• Team: Gather friends or colleagues to join you.
• Organizations: Churches, sororities, fraternities, or businesses can form groups.
• Event Details: 28th Annual LIFE Walk/Run featuring a 5K Walk and 5K, 10K Run.
