The Azalea Run 2025

🌼 ABOUT THE AZALEA RUN

• Host: Hosted by the Muskogee Running Club, the City of Muskogee, and Saint Francis Health Systems.
• Date: April 12th, at Honor Heights Park.
• History: This run dates back to the mid-1980s and has had many names, most recently known as the Muskogee Run.
• Location Change: This year’s event will stay inside the park and revert to the traditional name "The Azalea Run".

🎉 EVENT DETAILS

• Festival: This will be one of many events in the 2025 Azalea Festival, ongoing throughout April.
• Chili Cookoff: Happening on April 11-12 at Hatbox Sports Complex in Muskogee.
• Course: Runners will use the Garden of Lights Run Course for a beautiful spring experience.
• Join Us: We hope to see you on April 12th!

👕 T-SHIRTS & AWARDS

• Included: Registration includes an Azalea Run t-shirt and refreshments afterwards.
• Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group.
• Age Groups: Categories range from 8 and under to 70 and over.
• Recognition: A chance to win medals fosters friendly competition.

🏃 5K COURSE

• Scenic Route: The course will keep runners inside the park.
• Enjoy Nature: Participants will experience beautiful views of the park's flowers and gardens.

• Special Feel: The course offers a much different feel for a spring run.

💰 AZALEA RUN REGISTRATION FEES

• Early Bird: Until March 9th - $17.50 FUN RUN, $25 5k.
• Lower Prices: March 11th to April 6th - $20 FUN RUN, $27.50 5k.
• Registration Deadline: April 3rd - Last day to register with shirt guarantee.
• Full Price: April 7th to Race Day - $22.50 FUN RUN, $30 5k.

📦 PACKET PICKUP

• Date: Friday, April 11th.
• Time: 3 PM to 6 PM.
• Location: Honor Heights Park North Shelter by Splash Pad.

📅 RACE DAY SCHEDULE (April 12th)

• 6:30 AM: Event day registration opens at Honor Heights Park.
• 8:00 AM: 5K race and 1 mile fun run/walk start.
• 9:00 AM: 5K awards ceremony.
