Sheltair Run The Runway 5K Run (formerly Heroes 5K Run)

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

Sheltair and the Ocala International Airport are excited to announce the 3rd Annual – 5k Run on the Runway taking place on March 22, 2025! The 5k Run on the Runway will benefit local heroes within the community.

💰 Proceeds Allocation

• Benefit: Proceeds from the event will benefit heroes from various 501c3 organizations within our local community.
• Incentives: The first 200 registered runners will receive a 5k run T-shirt.
• Recognition: Each finisher will receive accurately chip-timed results and finisher's medals for the top 100 runners.
• Awards: Overall Male and Female awards will be presented, capping the awards at that level to increase proceeds for charity.

👕 Participant Perks

The first 200 registered runners will receive a Sheltair Run the Runway 5k run T-shirt. Each finisher will receive accurately chip-timed results provided by MCM Timing and Results LLC, with finisher's awards for the top 100 runners who cross the finish line. Overall Male and Female awards will also be presented, capped at that level to maximize proceeds for charitable organizations.

📦 Packet Pickup

Pre Race Packet Pickup will be FRIDAY, MARCH 21 at the 1200 SW 60th Avenue Ocala, FL 34474, from 3:00 PM until 6:30 PM. Packet Pickup will also be held RACE DAY, beginning at 5:45 AM.

🏆 Awards Information

AWARDS - the first 100 finishers will receive a finisher's medal, and the Overall Male and Overall Female will also be awarded. Awards are capped at those levels to maximize the amount of money donated to the race's charitable partners.
