Sheltair Run The Runway 5K Run (formerly Heroes 5K Run)

Sheltair and the Ocala International Airport are excited to announce the 3rd Annual – 5k Run on the Runway taking place on March 22, 2025! The 5k Run on the Runway will benefit local heroes within the community.

🎯 Proceeds and Awards

• Beneficiaries: Proceeds from the event will benefit heroes from various 501c3 organizations within our local community.
• T-Shirts: The first 200 registered runners will receive a 5k run T-shirt.
• Chip Timing: Each finisher will receive accurately chip-timed results.
• Medals: Finisher's medals for the top 100 runners who cross the finish line.

📝 Packet Pickup

Pre Race Packet Pickup will be FRIDAY, MARCH 21 at the 1200 SW 60th Avenue Ocala, FL 34474, from 3:00 PM until 6:30 PM. Packet Pickup will also be held RACE DAY, beginning at 5:45 AM.

🏅 Awards

The first 100 finishers will receive a finisher's medal, and the Overall Male, Overall Female will also be awarded. Awards are capped at those levels in order to maximize the amount of money donated to the race's charitable partners.
