Join us for the 3rd Annual Retro Run 5k taking place in downtown Ocala. This race will take place on the evening of 8/17. Break out your Chuck Taylors and your Short Shorts for the first race of the Run Ocala Race Series.

• Packet Pickup: 8/16/24
• Location: 2425 ne 18th place ste 103, Ocala, FL 34470
• Pickup Hours: 11 am - 2 pm

👕 Registration Information

T-Shirt – Register by 8/10 to guarantee your race shirt.

Finisher Medals for the first 300 to cross the line.

🏆 Awards

• Top 3 Overall: Awards for the fastest overall participants.
• Overall Masters: Separate category for older participants.
• Top 3 Age Group: Awards for various age brackets including: 9 and Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 AND OVER.
• Best Dressed: Dress in your favorite old-school running outfit.

Fastest 5k in Chucks – Blisters be damned, the fastest 5k in Chucks (or similar canvas shoes) will be eligible for a special prize!

🐕 No Dog Policy for Our 5K Races

We love dogs and understand they are part of the family, but unfortunately, we cannot permit them to participate in our 5K races. This policy is in place because our event insurance does not cover the participation of dogs, and we must prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants, both human and canine.

📋 Key Points of the Policy:

• No Dogs Allowed on the Course: For safety and liability reasons, dogs are not permitted to accompany runners or walkers during the race.
• Spectator Pets: Well-behaved and leashed dogs are welcome to spectate along the sidelines, provided they remain under control and do not enter the race course.
• Service Animals: Registered service animals are, of course, an exception to this rule, as they are covered under legal protections.
• Alternative Participation Options: If you’re looking for a dog-friendly race experience, please let us know, and we can share recommendations for other events in the area that welcome canine companions.
