Withlacoochee Trail Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Course Information

The Withlacoochee Trail Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K are on the hiking and horse trails within the Two Mile Prairie Tract of the Withlacoochee Forest near Lecanto, FL.

The marathon is 2 X 13.1 mile loops, the Half marathon is 1 X 13.1 mile loop, and the 10K is a modified loop.

🎽 Bib Pickup

Sunday, April 19th. Registration begins 1 hour before the race starts. Every registered runner will receive a cotton t-shirt and a race bib.

⏰ Start Times

• Marathon: 7:00 am
• Half Marathon: 8:00 am
• 10K: 8:30 am
• Course Closure: The course will stay open until 2:00 pm for all distances.

🍏 Aid Stations

• Refreshments: The three aid stations will have water, electrolyte sports drinks, soda, pickles, chips, and PB&J.
• Distance: Aid stations are approximately every 5 miles.
• Hydration: Every participant must carry a handheld, waist pack, or hydration pack.

🏅 Post Race

• Finisher Award: Every runner who completes any distance will receive a finisher award.
• Top Awards: The top three males and females from each distance will receive a specially handcrafted award.
• Celebration: Once you get your award, grab a camp chair, grab a hot dog, and hang out to cheer on other runners!

🏕️ Camping

The Bear Head Hammock Recreational Area has primitive camping sites in the equestrian campground. However, there isn’t a water or power source in the park, so plan accordingly. We have reserved the entire campground and runners are welcome to set up tents, car camp, or RV “boondock” camp using a generator on Saturday. (3 pm - 7 pm)

🔄 Rollover Policy

A1 Ultra Events does not have a refund policy. However, registered runners can earn a "rollover credit". The rollover credit option is a 75% credit towards the following year. (Available until 7 days before the race.) Participants who choose this option need to re-register for the race the following year and their credit will be waiting at checkout.
