2025 Corporal Cole Memorial 5k & Half Marathon

• Description: Somerset County's Corporal Eugene Cole was killed in the line of duty on April 25th, 2018. This 3rd annual race will honor Corporal Eugene Cole and his family.

🎓 Fundraising Purpose

• Profits: All profits will be given to the Maine Community Foundation towards a scholarship fund in Eugene Cole's name.
• Scholarship Recipient: Aaron Gordon of Norridgewock Maine was the first recipient of this scholarship.
• Ultimate Sacrifice: Corporal Cole is remembered as a compassionate man, a musician, a husband, a dad, and so much more.
• Community Support: Lace up your shoes and line the streets with blue to support the Corporal Cole Scholarship, the Cole Family, and all our Law Enforcement Officers.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Live Event: The Corporal Cole Memorial Run WILL be a live event this year!!
• Virtual Run: There will be a Virtual Run as well for those wishing to participate this way from August 16th - August 30th.
• COVID Precautions: Teams will be running in heats of 50 and leaving the starting line in 15-minute intervals.
• Prizes: Due to the lack of sponsorship this year we will not be able to give out the great prizes as we have in the past. There will be medals for 1st place in all categories.
