One of Roanoke's most loved and luckiest races is back with the Shamrock Hill Run on Saturday, March 15, 2024, at 9:00 am!

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

Brought to you by Roanoke Catholic School, our 5K (and this year it really is a 5K!) and 1-miler gives you a healthy, fun start to all of Roanoke's St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities.

📍 Race Course

• Start & End: Both races will start and end at Roanoke Catholic.
• Route: Features an all-new route that winds its way through Gainsboro and Lick Run Greenway.
• Medals: Medals will be awarded in all men’s and women’s age groups.
• Costume Prizes: Special prizes for the best St. Patrick’s Day costumes at the Celtic-themed awards ceremony in Roanoke Catholic’s Gillespie Family Gymnasium. Participants as well as the general public are invited.

⏱️ Timing & Registration

• Chip Timing: Race chip-timing provided by Run Roanoke.
• Registration Fee: $30 through February 28 at 3:00 pm: $35 after.
• T-shirts: Guaranteed for all who register by March 7, though we will do our best to accommodate all registrations.
• Packet Pickup: Friday, March 14, from 3:00-7:00 pm at Roanoke Catholic's Gillespie Family Gymnasium and starting at 8:00 am the morning of the race.

🎓 Beneficiary

All proceeds benefit Roanoke Catholic School, which is dedicated to the education of the whole person, blending learning with faith and faith with daily life.
