🍀 The Shamrock Salute 5K

Join us for the Shamrock Salute 5K at Harker Heights Community Park on March 1st! There’s something for everyone—a 5K run, a beer mile full of laughs, and a kids’ fun run to keep the little ones entertained. If you’re 21 or older, your 5K race entry even comes with a ticket for a free beer from Southern Roots Brewing Company! The fun doesn’t stop there—our beer mile will feature a competition for best dressed and best team, so bring your best spirit and maybe snag a special prize! Whether you’re running for fun or just here for the good vibes, it’s a perfect way to spend the morning with friends and family. Plus, all proceeds go to the USO to support military families. Don’t miss out on a great time for an even greater cause!

👟 Race Details

• 5k Race: Includes shirt + beer ticket (shirts not included for registrations after 2/15)
• Kids Fun Run: Includes finisher medal
• Beer Mile: Includes beer for race

🏆 Awards

Awards are given to the top overall male and female 5k finishers and the top three male/female finishers in each age group. No duplicate awards.

Age groups: 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

🌧️ Weather Policy

We're planning to run rain or shine, but please make a personal decision on whether you feel safe to participate. Please follow along on social media @profitracetiming.com for updates. There are no refunds for the event. The race will NOT be moved to an alternative date!

• Rain: The event will NOT be cancelled due to rain alone. Race officials reserve the right to delay or shorten the race based on heavy rain.
• Severe Weather: If there is severe weather, the race may be delayed as race officials deem necessary. If there is a more than reasonable delay, or if conditions persist, race officials reserve the right to shorten or cancel the race.
• Safety: Participants should seek safe shelter should severe weather develop during the race.
