Roses for Hoses 5K Run/Walk (formerly Cops vs Robbers)

🌹 Event Overview

• Race Series: This race is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series.
• Presented by: Morgan’s Point Resort Ladies Auxiliary.
• Purpose: Supporting the Fire Department and Community Outreach Projects.

👕 Race Details

• T-shirts: Race t-shirts are guaranteed to racers registered by March 12, 2025. Very limited quantities are available after this date.
• Bib Raffle: Roses for Hoses 5K will also hold a Bib Raffle for all entries - you must be present to win.
• Participation Gift: Each registered runner or walker will receive a Rose for participating.

💰 Registration Fees

• Early Registration: 5K - $30.00 (thru March 12)
• Late Registration: 5K - $35.00 (after March 12)

🏆 Award Categories

• Top Finishers: Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers.
• Age Groups: Top three male/female finishers in each age group. Age groups include: 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
• Costume Contest: Awards are given to the top four costumed participants.

📅 Packet Pick-Up

• Encouragement: Early Packet Pick-up is Strongly Encouraged!!!!
• Location: Garrett & Mic Event Center, 60 Morgan's Point Blvd.
• Dates:
  • Wednesday, April 9th, Noon to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 10th, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. (Auxiliary Meeting)
  • Friday, April 11th, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

🏁 Race Day Information

• Registration Time: Race day registration and packet pick-up will run from 7:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m. on race day at the race site.
• Payment: Registration is on personal devices (phone, iPad): credit cards only.
• Schedule: Start Time: 8:30 a.m. (This is a chip-Timed event!)

☔ Weather Policy

• Weather Conditions: We’re planning to run rain or shine, but please make a personal decision on whether you feel safe to participate.
• No Refunds: There are no refunds for the event. The race will NOT be moved to an alternative date!
• Rain: The event will NOT be cancelled due to rain alone. Race officials reserve the right to delay or shorten the race based on heavy rain.
• Severe Weather: If there is severe weather, the race may be delayed as race officials deem necessary.
