We believe beauty and health go hand in hand, and what better way to celebrate both than with a fun and empowering 5K race? Whether you're a hairstylist, beauty enthusiast, or community member, this event is for everyone who wants to embrace a healthier lifestyle.

Come participate in our one-of-a-kind event that's open to all WALKERS and RUNNERS. It's the first of its kind in the DFW area – where hairstylists, makeup artists, estheticians, barbers, tattoo artists, masseuses and more from across the globe can come together for a fun-filled day of fitness and health. Beauty can change lives, and we believe that by uniting as one, we can build more confidence in our industry, clients, and community. Our global goal is to promote wellness and encourage people to lead a more active lifestyle. So, bring your family, friends, clients, and community to support you in this unique Fun Run! It's not just about the physical aspect, but also the mental health benefits. Remember, health is wealth.

🗓️ Race Day Schedule:

Race Day: Sunday, October 5, 2025

Start Time: 8 AM

Race Location: TBD

🙌 Volunteer With Us:

Packet Pickup: Arrive at race location no later than 4:15 PM to help give out race packets and shirts.
Aid Station: Provide water to participants as they pass by and keep the course clean.
Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic and guiding participants.
Cheer Squad: Feel free to bring pom poms, horns, music, instruments, and signs to encourage the runners!

Top 3 Male and Female for various age groups: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

⚠️ Refund/Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.

In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to half an hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect participants.

If conditions turn unsafe due to lightning, ice, or severe weather, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.

Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation. If you are unable to participate in the event, or if the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and simply run the race on your own time on your own course.
