Light the Night 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

It’s time to “Light the Night” in Richlands, North Carolina to support Liberty Christian Academy. Come join this fun, night time event by running/walking a 5K race or a 1 Mile run/walk. The 5K glow run/walk is a timed event and is open to all ages and abilities. This is a family-friendly event, and strollers are welcome!

• Date: March 8, 2025
• Location: Corner of Wilmington and Pete Jones Streets, Richlands, NC

• Early Registration: Register early in order to be guaranteed a T-shirt.

💰 Registration Details

• 5K Run/Walk: Sign up before the race to save $5.00. The race will be $35.00 the day of the race.
• Before March 7th: $30.00
• March 8th: $35.00
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Before March 7th - $15.00, March 8th - $20.00

🏆 Awards and Categories

• Overall Awards: Male and Female - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
• Youth Categories: 1st, 2nd, 3rd for ages 3-6, 7-9, 10-13, and 14-19.
• Adults: 1st, 2nd, 3rd for each age category: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.
• Gender Recognition: Male and Female will be separately recognized.

🏁 Course Information

This is an out-and-back course that will have volunteers at every corner to help guide participants.
