- Event: The Difference180 Recovery is hosting our 8th Annual Run for Recovery Awareness.
- Date: 2025-03-29
- Location: 36 Kerr Street, Jacksonville, NC
- Purpose: To bring hope and healing to those affected by drug addictions, suicides, depression, and isolation.
🤝 Community Focus
- Mission: To provide a culture of a healthy "Family" or "Community" for those in recovery.
- Program Type: Faith-based program designed to support individuals in recovery.
🌳 Race Details
- Course: The race has been moved to the Kerr Street Recreation Center featuring a 3.1 mile loop through downtown, Wilson Park, Sturgeon City, and Kerr Street Park.
- Finisher Medals: All registered runners will receive a medal.
- Awards: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for 5K and 10K in each age group, and trophies for Best Overall times.
👶 Children's Dash
- Distance: 100 yard dash for children aged 4-10.
- Awards: No awards will be given, but finishers may receive a special surprise!
☕ Refreshments
- Available: Refreshments will be provided on site.
- Special Vendor: Coffee will be served by the FROTHY SLOTH food truck.
