🏃♂️ Race Overview
The Difference180 Recovery is hosting our 8th Annual Run for Recovery Awareness. Since the COVID pandemic there has been an outbreak in drug addictions, suicides, depression and isolation. It is our mission to bring hope and healing to those who have been affected by these evil influences.
🤝 Community Support
One of the key factors to help someone in recovery is to get them in a culture of a healthy "Family" or "Community". This is what we want to provide at the Difference 180 Recovery Meetings. We are a faith-based program.
📍 Location & Course
This year we are excited to announce that the race has been moved to the Kerr Street Recreation Center. The 3.1-mile loop will take you through the beautiful downtown area, Wilson Park, Sturgeon City, as well as Kerr Street Park.
🏅 Awards & Medals
- Finisher Medals: issued to all Registered Runners.
- Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for the 5K and 10K will receive additional medals.
- Best Overall: top times will receive a trophy.
👦 Kids' Dash
The 100-yard dash is for children from 4-10 years old. No awards will be given for this race. However, we may have a special surprise for each of the finishers!
☕ Refreshments
We will have refreshments available on site. Coffee will be served by the FROTHY SLOTH food truck.
