About this race
🏃♂️ Event Overview
Lace up your running and walking shoes and get ready to join the Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership (LRWP), the Arts Institute of Middlesex County, and the Borough of Dunellen for an EcoArts-inspired celebration of the Green Brook and its larger Raritan River watershed. Our USATF-certified 5K "Run Off" and 1-mile walk/roll/stroll are designed to connect participants in creative, fun, and surprising ways to the special ecology of a vital central New Jersey waterway. For the past ten years, the LRWP has been igniting environmental appreciation and stewardship of our urban waterways. We invite you to "RUN OFF" with us on March 29th to experience a new kind of connection to our local waterways, and to a deeper understanding of how to protect them.
🎉 Family-Friendly Activities
You don't need to run nor walk in order to participate in the free family-friendly arts experiences all morning!
- Performances: Enjoy performances by Martin Howth and LRWP's own Trash Troubadour!
- Visual Artist Tables: Stop by our various visual artist tables to participate in:
- Eco-Printing Station: Work with Kate Eggleston to create collagraph prints from reused/repurposed objects.
