• Date: Sunday, February 2, 2025
• Location: Catawba College Gymnasium, Salisbury, NC.
• Address: Corner of Summit & Yost.

🕑 SCHEDULE

• Registration: 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm at the Catawba gymnasium
• ½ Mile Fun Run: 1:30 pm (check-in by 1:20 pm)
• Wheelchair/Ainsley's Angels: 1:58 pm
• 5K Run/Walk: 2:00 pm (Course & Elevation Maps)

🍝 PASTA DINNER

• Date: Saturday evening, February 1, at 6:00 p.m.
• Location: City Park Recreation Center, 316 Lake Drive, Salisbury, NC 28145.
• Cost: Free for Salisbury Rowan Runners' members, $5 for family, $10 for community friends.

📅 EARLY CHECK-IN

• Location: City Park (316 Lake Drive, Salisbury, NC 28145)
• Details: Early check-in and packet pickup available Saturday night.
• Incentive: Come get your shirt early!

🚗 RACE PARKING

• Parking Instructions: Please see the posted map in the menu for race-day parking.
• Designated Zones: Park in any lot marked in white for “game day” parking.

🏅 RACE COURSE

• Overview: The 8K course starts near the Catawba College gym and ends in Catawba’s Shuford Stadium.
• Certification: Certified Course
• Championship: Serves as the 2025 RRCA 8K NC State Championship.
• Winners: State Champions will be the overall winners, masters, grandmasters, and senior grandmasters winners.

📜 8K STATE RECORDS

• Intent Notification: Anyone attempting a state record in the 8K must email David Freeze.
• Manual Timing: Chip timing is not allowed for NC state records.
• Check-in: Necessary to confirm participation in state record attempts.

🕒 LIVE RACE RESULTS

• Updates: Live results will be available at a link to be announced close to event date.
• Frequency: 8K & 5K results will be updated every five minutes.

⏱️ TIMING

• Method: 5K & 8K races will use chip timing.
• Access: Participants can get their finishing time immediately.

• Design: Great looking long-sleeve hoodie shirt for all 8K and 5K participants.

• 8K RUN: Top 3 Overall Male & Female Runners: Top Male & Female Masters, Grandmasters, & Senior Grandmasters Runners: 3 Deep Age Group Awards.
• 5K RUN/WALK: Top Overall Male & Female Runners: 3 Deep Age Group Awards.
• ½ MILE FUN RUN: Top 3 Overall, Ages 12 and Under: Medals to all other Fun Run Finishers Ages 12 and Under.
• Note: Overall Winners not eligible for Age Group Awards: awards will not be mailed.

📊 AGE GROUPS

• 8K RUN: Various age classifications from 14 & under to 80 & over.
• 5K RUN/WALK: Various age classifications from 14 & under to 70 & Over.

💰 CASH PRIZES - 8K ONLY

• Bonuses: $750 for new 8K WF records: $100 to First Male & Female Finisher.
• Incentives: $25 to first male & female at one mile mark: $25 to first male & female Rowan County finisher.

⚠️ WALKER POLICY

• Registration: All walkers must register in the 5K.
• Time Limit: No walkers allowed in the 8K due to a strict time limit of 90 minutes.
