Diwali Fun Run + Festival

🎉 Event Overview

Join us for an exciting evening celebrating Diwali with 5k and 10k races and vibrant festival! Whether you're a runner, walker, or festival-goer, this event promises something for everyone. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Quarry Lakes Regional Park, this family-friendly event combines fitness, fun, food, and Diwali festivities as we light up the night together!

⏰ Race Information

• Walkers Start: 5:00 pm
• 10k Runners Start: 5:15 pm
• 5k Runners Start: 5:30 pm
• Sunset: 6:36 pm. Walkers and those who may take longer are encouraged to begin at 5:00 pm. Anyone still on the course at sunset will be safely guided to a shortcut finish.

Timing: Chip-timed race to track your results!

Packet Pickup: Starts at 4:00 pm. Receive your race bib, event t-shirt, and a fun blinky bracelet to help light up the trails!

Parking: Is free! Park near the Teen Center or via Sailway Dr.

Course Details: Run or walk along the scenic trails as the sun sets. Dress in layers for warmth as temperatures drop after dark. The Expo area will be floodlit. This event will take place rain or shine, with tents available to stay dry if needed.

Post-Race Festival: After crossing the finish line, head over to the festival area to enjoy a delicious catered meal and a variety of fun activities!

🎶 Festival Activities

• Henna Tattoos: Available from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, perfect for all ages!
• Craft Station: Create Diwali-themed ornaments, sun-catchers, candle decorations, and coloring sheets.
• Photo Station: Capture memories at the selfie station.
• Music & Dance: Groove to Bollywood and popular tunes throughout the evening.

🏆 Awards Ceremony

Awards for the top five male and female finishers for both the 5k and the 10k will be announced at approximately 6:30 pm.
