- Race Distance: 5,000M run is a term used to describe a 5K on the TRACK.
- Typical Track Events: Athletes doing track in college usually do for distance events either a 5,000m or a 10,000m run! That's 12.5 or 25 laps on the track!! FUN!
- Don't Miss Out! If you have never run a 5,000M or it's been a long time, for sure you don’t want to miss this event!
- Proceeds: 100% OF PROCEEDS WILL GO TO SUPPORT FRESNO HS TRACK TEAM!
🏅 Race Schedule
- Date: Saturday, February 3rd
- 9:00 AM: Mile Run
- 9:30 AM: 100 Meter Kids Race
- 9:40 AM: 5,000M Run
- 10:15 AM: 4x400M Relay
📍 Location & Logistics
- Registration: Online or race day during bib pick-up from 8:00-9:30 AM.
- Location: Fresno HS Track (please enter the track by the small gate by Palm/Weldon)
- Parking: Weldon near Palm by tennis courts/swimming pool.
- Restrooms: Fresno HS campus restrooms available.
💵 Entry Details
- Entry Fee: $25 (long sleeve shirts included for those registered before January 15th)
- Timing: Bib numbers will be provided. Times will be official! We’ll have a timer!
- Shirts: Must be pre-registered by January 15th.
- Post-Race Treats: Hot chocolate and sweet bread/cookies for every finisher!

🏆 Additional Information
- 5,000M Series: This 5,000M run is a 30pt Central Valley Runner of the Year Series event!
- Extra Options: If 5,000M is too long, we also have an open mile run or a 100 meter kids run! Finally, at the end of the 5,000M event we’ll add a 4x400M relay!
- Flexible Participation: If you sign up for either of the events, you can do the other event if you wish to! No need to sign up for both of them!
