🎉 Event Highlights

• In-Person Experience: Join us for a fun-filled 5K with a finisher festival!
• Community Focus: Celebrate health and community with snacks, drinks, games, and FUN!
• Past Success: Last year, 224 participants completed the course from start to finish.
• Supportive Initiative: A portion of funds will help the Mobility Clinic at UTMB.

👟 Support for the Underserved

• Footwear Donations: Funds will support access to proper footwear & footcare for the underserved.
• Shoe Drives Achievements: Over 600 pairs of shoes donated as of December 2023.
• Community Engagement: Efforts aimed at improving health and lifestyle in Galveston.
• Mobility Clinic: A dedicated student organization working with local communities.

💻 Virtual Participation Option

• Virtual Bib: Registration includes a virtual bib for those participating remotely.
• Packet Pickup: Opportunity to collect race packets the week before the event.
• Finisher Stickers: Available for all registrants while supplies last after the race.
• Support a Cause: Donations will fund future PMI community projects, including shoe provision.

📅 Important Registration Details

• Limited Spots: Registration closes on February 24, 2025, or when full.
• Shirt Option: Consider purchasing a shirt or making a donation if you cannot attend.
• Shirt Pickup: Announcements regarding shirt and packet pick-up will be made closer to race day.
• Recycling Policy: Shirts not picked up in person will be recycled 2 weeks after the event.

• Beginner Training: Dates for training sessions will be announced soon.
• Partnership: Collaboration with Run Club at UTMB for beginner-friendly sessions.

🐾 Event Guidelines

• Public Event: Open to all: no residency or affiliation needed.
• Strollers: Allowed on the course.
• Pets: Not allowed on the race course but welcome at the finisher festival.
• Consolation for Pets: Please give your furry friends extra love!
