🎉 Race Overview
The Green Professionals Association (GPA) presents its 13th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run. Please join us on Thanksgiving Morning!
- Cap: 650 runners, please register early.
- Purpose: Raises money for college scholarships for Green High School seniors.
- Total Scholarships: To date, GPA has donated $41,000 in college scholarships.
📅 Event Details
- Event: 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
- Location: 1737 Steese Road, Green, Ohio, 44685 (Green Memorial Stadium).
- Traffic Directions: Exit Route 241 at Steese Rd. Park at the stadium before 7:20 am: school parking closed for the day.
- Date & Time: Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 7:30 AM (1 mile) and 8:00 AM (5K).
💰 Costs
- 5K Preregistered: $30 (ends on November 26th at 10:00 AM).
- 5K Race Day: $35 (begins on November 26th at 10:01 AM).
- 1-Mile Preregistered: $15 (ends on November 26th at 10:00 AM).
- 1-Mile Race Day: $20 (begins on November 26th at 10:01 AM).
All PRE-REGISTERED participants will receive a free long-sleeve performance shirt. Shirts are not guaranteed for "Race Day" registrations.
📦 Packet Pick-Up
- Night Before: Registration & packet pickup on November 26th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
- Location: Cleveland Clinic Akron General Health & Wellness Center, Lifestyles in Green, 1946 Town Park Blvd, Uniontown.
- Facilities Access: Utilize Lifestyles' facilities and receive a free 2-day pass before January 1, 2026.
- Race Day: Registration & packet pickup from 6:30 am – 7:30 am on November 27th at Green Memorial Stadium.
🏆 Awards
- 5K Prizes: Top 3 Male & Female in each class and top 3 Male & Female Overall.
- Age Brackets: 14 & under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up.
- 1 Mile Prizes: Top 4 finishers.
- Additional Prizes: Drawing for other prizes at the end of the race: bring canned goods for tickets.
