Providence Monster Dash 5K - Kids Dash

🎃 About the Race

Join us for the annual Providence Monster Dash on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Downtown Providence, RI. Celebrate Halloween FUN with loved ones and run or walk this FUN Halloween 5K. Don't forget the kids! Our kids race is open to children 12 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their kids.

👻 Costume Contest

• Individual Prize: $100 for the best individual costume.
• Team Prize: $200 for the best team costume.
• Team Minimum: Minimum of three people for the team costume contest.

🏃‍♂️ Providence Monster Dash Race Info

• Date: Sunday, October 26, 2025.
• Time: 9:30 am Kids Run (Ages 12 and under. Girls race first followed by the boys race) // 10 am 5K Run/Walk.
• Location: South Water Street, Providence, RI.

🧒 Events

Kids Dash Run

• Distance: Approximately 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under.
• Participation: Parents may run with their children.
• Start Time: 9:30 am. Girls' kids run will be first. Boys will start after the girls' kids run.

5K Run/Walk

• Distance: 3.1 Miles. As always, walkers are welcome.
• Note: No pets allowed and strollers must start in the back for safety reasons.
• Start Time: 10 am.

💰 Entry Fees

• 5K Registration: $32 to 7/31/2025: $34 8/1/2025 to 9/30/2025: $36 10/1/2025 to 10/25/2025: $40 Race Walk Up Registration on race day.
• Note: Online registration closes at 8 p.m. on 10/25/2025.
• T-Shirts: Not guaranteed for walk-up registrations.

Kids Monster Dash

• Registration Fees: $17 to 7/31/2025: $18 8/1/2025 to 9/30/2025: $19 10/1/2025 to 10/25/2025: $20 Walk Up Registration on race day.
• Check Policy: Sorry, no refunds and no pets allowed.

Pre-Race Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, October 24th, 2025. Noon - 6 pm at Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI.
• Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025. 11 am - 5 pm at Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI.

Race Day Packet Pickup

• Date: Sunday, October 26, 2025.
• Location: South Water Street, Providence, RI.
• Time: 8:30 am - 10 am.

🏆 Awards

Individual Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall.
• Age Categories: Winners (Under 19), (age 20-29), (age 30-39), (age 40-49), (age 50-59), (age 60-69), (age 70+).
• Scoring: Individual awards are scored on gun time.
• Kids Race: Top 3 Boys/Girls in Kids race.

Team Award

• Prize: Awarded to the top overall team.
• Scoring: Top 3 score based on chip time.
• Team Size: No limit on Team size.
• Registration: Online entry for Teams only.
