🌿 Mission and Purpose
- Environmental Focus: Join us for our annual 5K Green Run in beautiful Riverbend Park - our race to save the environment and empower a cleaner brighter future!
- Supporting Education: The Green Run is presented by the Partnership for Environmental Education (PFEE) - an all volunteer non-profit organization.
- Community Impact: The run supports the Jupiter Environmental Research and Field Studies Academy (JERFSA) - a stellar public high school environmental science "choice program" open to students in Palm Beach County.
- Student Involvement: JERFSA has been preparing our next generation of leaders in environmental science since 1993.
🌍 Community Contributions
- Practical Experience: Through their participation in the JERFSA program, students are continually giving back to our community on many different immediate levels.
- Hands-On Projects: Involvement in marine life surveying, reintroduction of native plant species, and construction of a wetlands project.
- Service Requirements: Students are also individually required to provide extensive community service hours over their four years in the program.
- Importance of Support: Your support is essential to the JERFSA program. We look forward to seeing you at Riverbend Park!
