🌟 About the Challenge
- Inspiration: The race is inspired by the life of Sgt. Joshua D. Desforges, a United States Marine killed in combat in Afghanistan in May 2010.
- Challenge: This is not an average 5K run/walk, but a 3+ mile road and trail run with Marine Corps-inspired obstacles.
- Scholarship Fund: 100% of the proceeds go directly into the Sgt. Joshua D. Desforges Scholarship fund.

- Recipients: Proceeds support graduating Ludlow High Seniors pursuing their passions.
- Eligibility: Open to any student, regardless of college plans.
- Purpose: The scholarship honors Josh’s life and gives back to the supportive community.
