• Initial Terrain: The first 3/4 mile is pavement
• Surface Change: Turns to scenic gravel roads
• Race Types: 5k and 10k are out-and-back: 1/2 marathon is a "lollipop" style
• Course Challenge: Difficult and challenging with rolling hills
