🌲 Race Overview

• Course: The race will be run entirely on the camp's single track trails and roads (dirt and gravel).
• Features: Rolling hills through old hardwood forests and varied trail conditions including rocks and roots.
• Distance Options: 4ish mile race, 8ish mile race, and a 3 mile virtual race.
• Water Stations: 3 staffed water stations for the 8ish mile and one for the 4 mile.

👶 Childcare & Safety

• Childcare: Available while you run, if needed.
• No Headphones: Please do not wear headphones during the race for safety reasons.
• Closure Time: Both races will close at 12:00pm.
• Walkers: Welcome on the 4 mile trail.

💸 Refund Policy

If the race is canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Race Committee or Camp Chestnut Ridge, such as inclement weather or public health emergency, no refunds will be made.

📝 Registration Details

• Cost: $30 for the 4mile and $40 for the 8ish mile online.
• Registration Deadline: Ends November 21: after, prices increase.
• Packet Pick-up: Early pick-up at Bull City Running in Durham on November 22 from 4pm to 5:45pm.
• Race Day Registration: Starts at 8:45 am, cash or check only.

🏆 Awards

Categories: Awards for top male and female in both races. Additional age group awards for both the 4 mile and 8ish mile races.

🕒 Race Day Schedule

• 8:45 am - 9:45 am: Check-in & packet pick-up.
• 10:00 am: 8ish mile race starts.
• 10:15 am: 4 mile race starts.
• 11:30 am: Awards begin, starting with the 4 mile race.
