• Event Name: 25th Annual Shamrock 5k Run – Walk – Roll
• Date: March 22, 2025 at 10:00 am
• Location: 888 Conrad Rd, East Lansing, MI, on the Michigan State University campus
• Purpose: To raise funds for the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities serving Spartan students

🎓 Tower Guard Collaboration

• Mission: Collaborates with the RCPD to enhance accessibility and support
• Impact: Over 85% of reading for the visually impaired at MSU is done by Tower Guard
• History: Founded in 1934 by May Shaw as a service-oriented organization
• Inclusivity: Membership expanded to include male students in 1977

💰 Registration Details

• Pricing: $30 until March 1st, then $35. MSU Students $5 discount
• T-shirts: Guaranteed for those who register by March 1st
• Team Pricing: Form a team of 5 or more for $5 off each participant
• Family Pricing: $3 off per participant for 3 or more sign-ups from the same household

🏅 Awards

• Finishers Medals: All participants will receive a finishers medal
• Packet Pickup: Race day morning starting at 8:30 am at the race start location

🏁 Course and Logistics

• Start/Finish: Conrad/Fee Hall, in the East Neighborhood courtyard
• Parking: Plenty of parking available in nearby lots
• Course Map: Available HERE
• Professional Timing: Conducted by the Michigan Running Foundation

🎉 Event Highlights

• Fun Atmosphere: Music, complimentary food and drinks, raffle prizes from local businesses
• Special Guests: Possible appearance by Sparty (dependent on March Madness scheduling)
• Tours: Tours of Beaumont Tower available during and after the event
• Fundraising: Almost all registration fees go to RCPD’s note-taking pilot program
