Join Friends of Stark Parks for The Canalway Classic Spring Peeper on Saturday, April 12, 2025, starting at 8:30 a.m. in St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton. This family-friendly walk/run 2 mile, 5 mile, or combo 2 + 5 mile race is a major fundraiser for Friends of Stark Parks.
💰 Purpose of the Event
Money raised from this event allows Friends of Stark Parks to support a variety of supplemental projects in Stark Parks:
- Wildlife Center fence: Essential for protecting local wildlife.
- Wildlife Center floor scrubber: Important for maintaining cleanliness.
- Chip and seal machines: Used for trail maintenance and repair.
- parkrun box/fund: Supports community running initiatives.
- Summer Serenades: Funding for summer events in the parks.
- Sippo Valley Trail Bridge: Enhancements to local trails.
