Peticolas Running Club Social Run/Walk - March

🎉 Event Overview

No one can deny that a bowl of cereal with milk—be it Lactaid, almond, or soy—is a celebration for the taste buds! Whether it's the breakfast of champions, Wheaties, peanut butter puffins, Cheerios or Lucky Charms, the quick box of goodness turns any ordinary morning into an adventure! But cereal-ously don't we all want beer first? Head over and join the Peticolas Running Club crew to celebrate National Cereal Day (the day after the official day), with a run/walk guaranteed to make you snap, crackle, and pop with excitement!

🏃‍♂️ Run/Walk Details

• Pace: Go at YOUR pace, run, walk, skip, whatever you like. The goal is to show up and have a great time.
• Distance: The three miles is on a trail near the brewery!
• Check-in: Between the hours of 8AM-9AM. You can start your run/walk whenever you would like or join the 'group' start at 8:30AM.
• Arrival: Please arrive by 9AM (check-in ends promptly at 9AM, thank you!).

💧 On the Trail

Along the trail there will be mile markers out, and bottled water available to take with you (there is no water on the course), or bring your own filled water bottle.

The social run includes:

• Run/Walk: Enjoy the run/walk with fellow participants.
• Branded Glass: A custom branded pint glass.
• Brews: Three brews from Peticolas.
• Tacos: Tacos from THAT TACO DUDE breakfast.

🕗 Social Run Schedule

• 8:00 AM-9:00 AM: Check in and start the social run/walk (rolling start).
• 8:30 AM: “Group” Start (for those who want to run with a group).
• 9:30 AM: Breakfast.
• 10:30 AM: Social run raffle.
• 11:00 AM: Last call.
• 11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends.

📋 Notes & Tips

• Check-in: Between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the day of the event.
• Group Start: If you want to run or walk with the group, check in before 8:30 AM.
• Weather: Social runs/walks are rain or shine: we will just enjoy indoors if bad weather hits.
• Dogs: No dogs please, due to liability reasons.
• Refund Policy: Like the Velvet Hammer 5K, there are no refunds once registered.
• ID: Bring your ID.
• Strollers: Kids in strollers are always welcome and free.
• Extras: You can purchase additional beer to go or merchandise at the brewery.

💵 Registration & Pricing

Purchase tickets online for $30. The social run includes tacos from THAT TACO DUDE, three delicious brews from Peticolas, and a custom Peticolas social run branded glass. The events are rain or shine, and there are no refunds or advance packet pick up. Once you register, you are registered, and if you don't pick up your goodies between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, you lose it, no exceptions.
