Shearer's Chip Chase

🚀 Overview

• Event: The 16th Annual Shearer's Food Chip Chase 5K Run/Walk
• Date: Friday, May 30th, 2025
• Location: 110 MAIN ST SE, Brewster, OH
• Benefit: All proceeds will benefit the Brewster Fireman Association.

🗓️ Schedule

• 5:30 PM: Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration
• 7:00 PM: The Chip Off the Old Block Kids Run
• 7:30 PM: The 5K Run/Walk starts
• Registration: Includes a family discount of $5 after the first registrant for the 5K event.

🎉 Activities

• Family Fun: Join us for raffles, runner's bags, door prizes, and race refreshments.
• Festival: Enjoy the Brewster Fireman's Festival featuring carnival rides, fair food, live bands, and fireworks.
• Kids Fun Run: For kids 8 & under, all participants receive a t-shirt, medal, and finishers goodie bag!
• Shirts: Guaranteed for those who register by 05-23-2025.

🏆 Awards

• Top Competitors: Awards for top 3 Overall Male & Female, and top 3 Wheelchair participants.
• Age Categories: Awards for various age groups ranging from 9 and under to 85 and over.
• No Walking Division: Please note that there will be no Competitive Walking division this year.

• Proceeds: Support the Brewster Fireman Association.
• Donation Process: Use the donation link to donate.
• Registration Donations: Contributions can also be made during the registration process.

🌐 Virtual 5K

• Participation: Can't attend in person? A virtual option is available.
• Shipping: Items for the virtual option will be shipped after the event by June 10 and received by June 15.
• Posting Times: Virtual times can be submitted from May 30 to June 15.

• Call for Volunteers: Volunteers are welcome and needed to help make the race successful.

• Many Stations: There are various volunteer opportunities available.
