2025 registration now open! Saddle up and head out to Old Tucson! The popular TMC Sunrise at Old Tucson Trail Run is back! Runners and walkers of all ages can choose either a 4-Mile Run or family-friendly 1-Mile Walk/Run, all entirely on the grounds of the newly reopened Old Tucson.

🌵 Race Experience

Unique Setting: Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for a fun way to get some exercise, join us for an exciting morning at America's most legendary western film set.
Transported to the Wild West: Passing through the gates of an old frontier town, you'll be transported back in time to the mythic Wild West.
Famous Trail Running: Dash down the streets of Hollywood’s most famous films, and walk in the footsteps of movie legends like John Wayne, Sharon Stone, and other class film stars.
Family Friendly: Cowboy costumes, children, and strollers are all welcome!

Free Commemorative Shirt: All participants receive a free commemorative long sleeve shirt and colorful souvenir race number.

Women's 4-Mile Trail Run: starts at 7:30 am
Open and Men's 4-Mile Trail Run: starts at 8:30 am
1-Mile Walk/Run: starts at 8:30 am
Kids 1-Mile Walk/Run: $5 for all under 14 years old (capped at 50), starts at 8:30 am
Lil' Partners Kids 100 Yard Dash: starts at 9:30 am (approx)

Pricing: Low pricing with a la carte add-ons, including Day Pass to Old Tucson, breakfast burrito, or additional souvenir shirts.
Post-Race Bar: Cash bar with beer, spirits, and more at Stage 2, near the Bitter Creek finish line.
Costume Contest: Western-themed costume contest at the awards ceremony: run in your western duds and try to win a costume contest prize!
4-Mile Course: Includes single track trails, Horse Poop Alley, dirt roads, washes, and the dusty Old Tucson Main Street (wheelchairs and strollers may find this challenging).

🚦 Important Information

Terrain: Dirt, trails, and washes.
Difficulty: Some sections are rugged, mostly flat but a few inclines: watch out for cactus.
Weather: Expected temperatures in the 50s-70s.
Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on Old Tucson property.

🎟️ Day Pass and Park Entry

All participants are invited to stay in the park until the park opens at 10:30. After 10:30, all will need a park pass to enjoy the day in the grounds. Click here to make a day pass purchase using the Old Tucson ticketing platform.

Discounted Day Pass to Old Tucson: $5 per race participant, free for 4-and-under.
Regular Pricing: $39 or $24 for ages 5-12 and free for 4-and-under.
