Come join us for one of the most iconic races in Southern Arizona! Sabino Canyon located in the Coronado National Forest, is one of the most beautiful desert canyons in the American southwest and a true jewel of the Tucson community. This unique 7.4 mile race is designed to capitalize on the majestic nature of Sabino Canyon to provide a unique opportunity to experience the challenges of a great race in a truly magnificent setting.

YOU CAN REGISTER ONLINE UNTIL NOON ON RACE DAY, SATURDAY, 4/12/2025, WHEN REGISTRATION CLOSES FOR THIS YEAR.

NO IN-PERSON REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT SABINO CANYON.

🏅 Registration Information

• No Refunds: This race often sells out quickly and we are restricted to a certain number of registrants so we cannot do any REFUNDS, SUBSTITUTIONS, REPLACEMENTS or WAIT LIST.
• SAR Member Discount: SAR Members get an automatic $5 off when they register for the 7.4 Mile event.
• Native American Discount: Use code SABNA2025 at checkout for a 10% discount.
• Military Discount: Active Duty and Retired Military can use code SABMIL2025 at checkout for a 10% discount.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EARLY START FOR THE 7.4 MILE RACE IS ONLY FOR THOSE NEEDING EXTRA TIME TO FINISH. RUNNERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CHANGE START TIMES AT THE RACE. ONLY RUNNERS 60 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER CAN DO EITHER THE MAIN OR EARLY 7.4 MILE START AND STILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS. THERE WILL BE A COOL FINISHER PRIZE FOR THE 2 MILE FUN RUN/WALK.

🏆 Awards & Swag

• 7.4 Mile Awards: Awards for both male and female, Top 3 overall, Top Masters, Top 3 in 5 year age groups up to 80+. Performance Footwear and Summit Hut gift certificates will be awarded. Only ages 60 and Up can do either the early or main start and still be eligible for awards.
• Shirts: All 7.4 MILE registrants will receive a super-soft race shirt.
• Finisher Medals: All 7.4 MILE finishers will receive a super-cool finisher medal.
• Fun Run Shirts: All 2 MILE finishers will receive a super-soft race shirt. Eegees, Pizza, Music, and fun at the finish line for all!
