TMC A-Mountain Half Marathon + 4-Miler + Cox Family Mile

Join us at Tucson's premier half-marathon charity event for all ages, all abilities, and all bodies. Runners, walkers, joggers, chair athletes, young and old -- everyone is welcome, but the race is capped at 1300, so sign up before we sell out!

• Results: Can be found at https://results.runsar.org.
• Awards Pickup: If you earned an award, please visit The Running Shop at 3055 North Campbell by the end of November 2025.
• Shirt and Medallion: If you did not yet receive your race shirt and souvenir medallion, please visit The Running Shop by the end of November 2025.

🎉 Race Distances

Choose from four different race distances:

🏃‍♀️ TMC A-Mountain Half-Marathon

• Distance: The only 13.1-mile half-marathon that’s actually in Tucson, your beautiful course will circle the summit of A-Mountain then cruise an out-and-back along the scenic Santa Cruz Riverpath.
• Shirt: All Half registrants receive a technical long sleeve race shirt, perfect for the coming winter months.
• Medal: All Half registrants receive the stained glass souvenir medal.
• Prizes: Prize money for top runners and gift certificates to The Running Shop for age group winners.
• Time Limit: Four-hour time limit for runners and walkers.
• Price: $90 through October 13, then $100.

🏃 TMC A-Mountain Four-Miler Run/Walk

• Route: You can walk or run this out-and-back route that circles the top of A-Mountain, with beautiful views of the entire Tucson region.
• Shirt: All 4-Miler registrants receive the colorful race shirt and the souvenir medallion.
• Prizes: Gift certificates to The Running Shop for age group winners.
• Price: $40 through October 13, then $50.

👧 SAR's FitKidz Free Mile

• Eligibility: Free for children 12-and-under.
• Goodies: Kids goodies provided by the SAR FitKidz Program.
• Price: Free.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 COX Free Family Mile

• Eligibility: Free for all 13-and-over -- perfect for all abilities.
• Activity: Walk or run a mile along the race course - fun for families.
• Shirt: You may be able to purchase a souvenir shirt on race day.
• Discounts: Your race number gets you discounts to local merchants and restaurants.
• Price: Free.

🍻 Fabulous Goodies and Post-Race Fun

• T-Shirt: Colorful t-shirt for first 1300 registrants in the half and 4-miler.
• Medallion: Souvenir medallion for first 1300 registrants.
• Awards: Age group awards courtesy of the Running Shop.
• Prize Money: For top runners.
• Live Music: At the finish party in the Mercado Annex by Barnaby and the Butcher.
• Post-Race Activities: Food, drinks, and other fun post-race activities to celebrate your accomplishments.

🤝 Community Impact

• Final Race: Third and final race of the 2024 Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown, raising funds for BEYOND-Tucson.
• Contribution: Thanks to Cox Communications and Cox Charities, the race provides funds to local non-profits, Team Hoyt Arizona, and Step up to Justice.
